Our story began in the mid-1990s when our founder, Bill Whyte, worked as a carpenter in frigid New England winters. His hands would often split and crack, leading him to create a soothing herbal balm from beeswax and olive oil. This simple balm was so effective that he shared it with everyone he knew, leading to the creation of Badger Balm.
