Our founder, Bill Whyte, started our brand many years ago when he was working as a carpenter in the freezing winters of New England. His hands would often split and crack, so he created a simple herbal balm with beeswax and olive oil. It worked so well for him that he decided to share it with everyone he knew.

Our product philosophy is centered around creating products for the people we love. We use the highest quality natural, organic ingredients to formulate powerfully pure products that protect, soothe, and nourish. Once we get them just right, we share them with the world because we believe everyone deserves access to high-quality healing products.

Badgers love what we do. We work in a beautiful, solar-powered building that is filled with the fragrances of beeswax and essential oils. Being part of a healthy business that makes a positive difference in the world brings us joy. Our mission has always been to create healing products for the people we love, and we are proud to continue doing so.

Our focus on sustainability is evident in the small changes we make to our products to reduce carbon emissions. We have introduced Compact by Design to highlight products that, while they may not look different, have a more efficient design. By eliminating excess air and water, our products require less packaging and are more efficient to ship. These small changes add up to significant carbon emission reductions when scaled.

Some of the ways our products qualify for Compact by Design include being made with organic extra virgin olive oil, beeswax, and aloe to moisturize and protect lips. They are flavored with organic extracts of lavender and Sicilian orange and contain no petroleum, artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners. Additionally, our products are Leaping Bunny Certified cruelty-free, so you can feel good about using them.
