Our founder, Bill Whyte, initially created a simple herbal balm in the mid-1990s to soothe his cracked hands from working as a carpenter in the harsh New England winters. This balm, made from beeswax and olive oil, was so effective that he began sharing it with others, leading to the birth of Badger.
